The information is provided solely for the website in question and not for any other websites the users may consult through links.
The information is also inspired by Resolution no. 13 dated 1 March 2007 “on the internet and electronic mail” of the Privacy Guarantor, and by Recommendation no. 2/2001, which the European Authorities for the protection of personal data, assembled in the Group instituted by article 29 of the European Directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001 to identify some minimum requirements for the collection of personal data on-line, and in particular, the methods, the timing and the nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when the latter access web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection.

DATA CONTROLLER
Following consultation of this website, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed. The Data Controller for its processing is Carlo Mazzola, Via Brera 7, 20121 Milan (MI) – Italy.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Navigation data

During the course of their normal use, the computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website collect some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected for the purpose of being associated with identified subjects, but by its nature, by means of processing and associations with data held by third parties, it could allow the identification of users.
This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of computers used by the users connecting to the website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s IT environment.
This data is used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and for checking its correct functioning, and it is cancelled immediately after processing. The data could be used for ascertaining liability in the event of hypothesised computer crimes against the site: with the exception of this eventuality, the data on web contacts does not last for more than six months.

Data provided voluntarily by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to respond to the requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the website provided for particular services on request.

Cookies
No personal data of users is acquired by the website in this regard. No use is made of cookies for transmitting information of a personal nature, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind, or systems for tracking users, used.
The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to transmitting the session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary for allowing safe and efficient browsing of the site.
The so-called session cookies used on this site avoid the recourse to other IT techniques that are potentially detrimental to the confidentiality of users’ browsing, and they do not permit the acquisition of the user’s personal identification data.

Log files and their storage
Log files will be tracked for security reasons, which necessitate the recording and conservation of log files and their accessibility to the judicial police in the event that the latter should request them.
To this end, access log files will be conserved for a period of time not exceeding: 6 months/1 year.
Any access controls will be carried out gradually and in full compliance with the law, in particular with the principles of necessity and proportionality.

VOLUNTARY NATURE OF PROVIDING DATA
Apart from that specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide the personal data reported in the request forms or indicated in contacts to request registration in the curriculum database, or the sending of informative material or other communications, or the purchase of company products through the e-commerce service.
Failure to provide said data may make it impossible to obtain that which is requested.
For completeness, it should be remembered that in some cases (not subject to the ordinary management of this website), the Authorities may request data and information pursuant to article 157 of the Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, for the purposes of monitoring the processing of personal data. In these cases, response is obligatory under penalty of administrative sanction.

METHODS OF PROCESSING
Personal data is processed using automated tools for the time strictly necessary for achieving the purposes for which the data was collected.
Please note that, for accounting purposes only, the data of online purchasers will be kept for a longer period of time, as established by the law (5/10 years, depending on the type of data).
Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or improper use, and the unauthorised access of data.
PURPOSE
The data is processed for the purposes inherent in carrying out our activity and the activities of subsidiaries and/or affiliated companies, in particular for:
– providing services based on the web interface (registration of user data);
– inclusion in the curriculum database;
– providing commercial information relating to the activity of the data controller
– statistical research;
– online shopping.

RIGHTS OF INTERESTED PARTIES

The subjects to whom the personal data refer, at any time, are entitled to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of said data and to be informed of its content and origin, and they may verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or its amendment (article 7 of the Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003).
In accordance with the aforementioned article, users have the right to request the cancellation, the transformation into anonymous form, or the blocking of data processed in violation of the law, and in any case, for legitimate reasons, to oppose its processing.
